The Advanced Placement Scheme for MDWs

The Advanced Placement Scheme for MDWs is a programme started by the Ministry of Manpower since 2016 to enable faster placement and better matching of MDWs for employers with caregiving needs. 

 

Best Home is one of the few employment agencies approved to source for and bring in a specific number of MDWs before they have found an employer. This means that our clients will be able to have face-to-face interviews in Singapore with prospective MDWs to facilitate better matching. Additionally, helpers can also be quickly deployed upon confirmation. 

 

APS helpers will similarly have to go through the same training and appraisal to be ready for work duties in Singapore.
